XIMALAYA FM AN APP WITH A HUGE SUCCESS IN CHINA

Another success story in China social media is the audio app called Ximalaya FM. It is the largest online audio-sharing platform in China. It was launched in 2013 and very fast it became the leading app in app stores since the start of the year. It has more the 40 million registered users who upload daily more than 10,000 contents in more than 330 million mobile phones.  The average daily usage time is around 125 minutes on the site by the more than 6 million daily users.

On the other hand, Ximalaya FM has also partnered on their side with more than 60 of the major car brands like BMW, Ford and Cadillac to offer in-car entertainment systems for drivers and passengers.

 

In may 28th 2018 Ximalaya FM reached a valuation of CNY20 billion (USD$3.1 billion) and it is expected to continue growing in the following years. Proving that this app has become a huge success story in a very short period of time.
